Individual coaching

Individual coaching, to step back before you decide

One-to-one work with a manager or leader, on a real situation where they are stuck. Sessions take place every two to three weeks over three to six months, in French, English or Spanish, and what is said stays between the two people in the room.

Support over time, built entirely around you

Individual coaching is support over time, fully personalised and tailor-made, in which a professional coach guides you towards personal or professional objectives, on themes such as:

  • Managerial stance, management skills and leadership development
  • Commercial stance
  • Interpersonal communication: saying things clearly, communicating effectively and assertively
  • Public speaking
  • Managing stress, emotions, time and priorities
  • Building self-confidence
  • Thinking through a new professional or life goal, and putting it in place

The coach who runs the programme is chosen by the coachee, after meeting at least two different profiles. We pay particular attention to the relationship between coachee and coach: it is the keystone of coaching that succeeds and is carried out in full trust.

Whatever the theme, the coaching is built around a precise objective defined by the coachee. When a company commissions the coaching, that objective is set jointly by the coach, the coachee and the sponsor (the coachee's manager or someone from human resources).

Once the objective is set, the coachee is followed over a number of sessions agreed in advance. Between sessions, the coachee reflects and takes action: that is what makes the follow-up real over time and the progress steady.

What coaching helps you do

  • Address a specific issue
  • Step back to reach certain objectives
  • Pinpoint your areas for improvement and your potential, to make the most of your resources
  • Learn specific techniques and tools
  • Remove whatever is holding you back

Two stages: preparation, then the sessions

  1. Preparation

    • You meet two or three certified coach profiles, then choose your coach.
    • A session to define the objective. It can be three-way, bringing in the coachee's manager or someone from human resources.
    • Planning the sessions and the format: in person, by video, or a mix of the two.
    • Where useful, assessments to pinpoint strengths and areas for improvement: the Enneagram or another personality test, self-confidence, assertiveness, leadership.
  2. The sessions

    • Progress towards the objective is tracked across sessions of ninety minutes to two hours. Our certified coaches build an action plan with you. They work mainly through questioning and may bring in other approaches (logical levels, NVC, MBTI, the Enneagram, NLP) when these serve your objective.
    • Tools and techniques in management, communication, selling or mental preparation.
    • Indicators and actions are set and tracked, to show that the objective has been reached.
    • Putting the tools and methods into practice on real cases.
    • A closing session reviews whether the objective has been reached. It can also be three-way, with the coachee's manager or someone from human resources.

Coaching is neither therapy nor consulting. A coach does not diagnose and does not tell you what to do. If what you need is expert advice or clinical support, we will say so at the first conversation rather than take the engagement.
